I have yet to see any significant evidence to suggest by improving your overall health that you will be able too also limit your dandruff. Dandruff is generally caused by dry skin on your scalp. Just because you are healthy does not mean you will not be unacceptable to a dry scalp.

So what sources can I trust on dandruff?

Honestly, when attempting to get rid of dandruff, you need to keep things simple. Complicating the matter will not help. There is no magic way to get rid of dandruff. You just need to use products in your hair that will lead to conditions on your scalp that do not encourage dandruff. For starters, a conditioner can be used to moisturise your hair and scalp and make sure things do not get too dry.

So what conditioner is best?

Use your own judgement. Read the ingredients and find one that works for you. If you want to stop dandruff I would advise you to check out and take note of some of the products they advise in regards to hair, scalp and dandruff.

However don’t just blindly follow the advice, take it in and think for yourself. There is plenty of conditioners that all do the same thing.

Popular and trusted brands include, neutrogena, head and shoulders and nizoral. However as I said, do your own research and don’t just blindly buy something.

The best thing to do is leave it in there for 5-10 minutes to do it’s thing. If you to this 3 times a week as well as using shampoo and conditioner you will likely see a great improvement in your dandruff.

If you don’t see improvements, or it has not improved to the extent you would like, then I would encourage you to see your doctor. There is many steroid lotions that you can use to help with more serious cases of dandruff. The doctor will be able to prescribe and advise.

So you have no doubt heard about apple cider vinegar. I mentioned some other natural remedies to get rid of dandruff above, however apple cider vinegar is one that you will see coming up all the time. So just why is it so popular?

Apple cider vinegar has been used for years to treat the problem of dandruff. The main reason is because it is a fantastic anti bacterial agent. And the best part is, it is natural. So you don’t need to worry about chemicals doing you harm.

So how should I use apple cider vinegar?

  1. You should mix together 1/3 apple cider vinegar and 2/3 water. Most people recommend warm water, however it doesn’t really matter. Warm water will probably feel better!

If after a good amount of research, you believe it will be beneficial and it’s not goig to break the bank, well go for it. However don’t plan your whole diet around supplements. It would be simpler to forgot them all together and focus on eating well and living a healthy lifestyle

5. Make sure you get a break

Taking timeout form the stressed of life, whatever they me, is important. No matter what your lifestyle, you need to take the time to chill out. This applies both mentally and physically. Don;t workout seven days a week. That is stupid (unless you are a bodybuilder or an athlete).

Doing everything at 110 percent 24/7 is not going to last. So make sure you give yourself the time to have a rest and relax. Your body will thank you for it in the long run.
